Extension and renovation of a home in Queens Park
Loft and side extension to a period home in a conservation area of Queens Park.
The Brief
To extend this family home into the loft to create a bedroom and shower room and extend the kitchen into the side return to make an open plan kitchen diner to accommodate a growing family.
The Challenge
The house is in a conservation area of Queens Park and as such there were strict planning conditions to meet. These together with lots of tricky levels to work around to extend the kitchen and also the loft created a few issues we needed to resolve. The client and their family also needed to move back in for periods during the build which is never easy for them or for us!
The Result
